Attorney Carrie Schultz Recognized by Super Lawyers for 2018

We are pleased to announce that MR. Men’s Rights Divorce & Family Law of New Jersey by Schultz & Associates, LLC founder Carrie S. Schultz has been recognized by Super Lawyers for 2018. Carrie has been named to the Top 50 Women New Jersey Super Lawyers for 2018, an honor which she also received in 2016.

What it Means to Be in the Super Lawyers Top 50

In order to be designated as a Super Lawyer, an attorney must go through a rigorous vetting process which involves peer nomination, independent research, and peer evaluation. The selections for this list are made by the research team at Super Lawyers, which is a service of the Thomson Reuters, Legal division based in Egan, MN. Each year, the research team at Super Lawyers undertakes a multi-phase selection process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent evaluation of candidates by the attorney-led research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and a good-standing and disciplinary check. The decisions made by Super Lawyers have not been approved by the New Jersey Supreme Court.
Ultimately, less than five percent of lawyers in each state are selected for inclusion.
Being named among the Top 50 Women New Jersey Super Lawyers is an even more prestigious honor, and one that requires significant recognition within the attorney’s area of practice. Unlike other attorney awards, in order to be recognized as a Super Lawyer, an attorney must receive at least one nomination from an attorney who is not a member of his or her firm. The selection process also includes an independent assessment of 12 “indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement,” including:
  • Verdicts/Settlements
  • Transactions
  • Representative Clients
  • Experience
  • Honors/Awards
  • Special licenses/certifications
  • Position within the law firm
  • Bar and/or professional activity
  • Pro bono and community service
  • Scholarly lectures/writings
  • Education/employment background
  • Other outstanding achievements
With 17 years of family law experience, top client and peer ratings, and a Certification as a Matrimonial Law Attorney from the Supreme Court of New Jersey, Carrie is a trusted advocate and advisor for spouses, parents, and other individuals facing family-related legal issues throughout New Jersey.
